Rainbow End Shaman The Seven Crystals Book 2 eBook Corrie Mitchell

This is book two in the series and I must admit I liked this book more than the first book.
The flow of the story was better and even the writing has an easy flow about it so that you get the feeling that you are right there next to the characters, joining the plot.
Thomas's character is more mature growing into his abilities with the greatest of ease not that Orson would agree with me... ;)Orson's character is wrapped in mystery giving us only glimpses of himself. His pride in young Thomas always evident although he would never admit it.
Kraylle's character is as evil as it gets. His sinister persona and devious mind always busy plotting to overthrow Rainbow's end.
I like the build up within the plot; the undertone of suspense always there and you get pulled into the story bit by bit as you get to know more about each person and the mysteries of Rainbow's End.

Rainbow End Shaman The Seven Crystals Book 2 eBook Corrie Mitchell Reviews

I enjoyed this book, the second in the series, immensely. Apart from the mythic canvas, the accomplished world-building, the wonderful characters, Mr. Mitchell's use of descriptive language is simply breathtaking. This is an author to watch!
So what happened to the third book in the series? I know, it is my fault for not checking it out before starting...I hate it when there is a delay in a series as I usually read them all back to back like one really long book. I didn't expect much when I started this one as I thought it was geared toward the youngens, but was surprised that it resonated on different levels, I am sure all is well in the end, but I sure wanted to enjoy the journey getting there, though.
It's a good read , I enjoyed it a lot ,I would like to finish the series
That was not what I was expecting , this second book was amazing I can't wait for more of this exciting adventure
Not my usual fair but I couldn't put it down. Told with a British tone. The only thing I found difficult was all the Metric references. Americans still use the English system mostly.
A book I could not put down. The story about Rainbows end and the travelers with there ongoing mission to save what is good and fight against the evil that wishes them dead, everything a great story needs. I can't wait for the next.
This a story of a continuous battle between twin demigods, one for good and one for bad. The brother only wants to destroy Rainbow's End that the sister created in another world location. He lives on a desolate rock he calls Desolation in a world of its own. A young boy who is a shaman and has the power of fire goes to Desolation and offers to help him out in return for more power. He is the fire starter. He uses his talents to bring destruction to many who he feels have done him ill or just are no longer a help to him. This includes Rainbow's End which is a haven where children who are at risk whether because their parents have died and they are left alone at risk for their lives or are battered or any of the other disasters that may befall children. He just likes to destroy and the male demigod increases his powers so that he can help him destroy Rainbow's End. This book covers the battle with the evil boy at the heart of the story.
This is book two in the series and I must admit I liked this book more than the first book.
